A vintage oak cabinet hand painted in black mineral paint with the beautiful carved details highlighted in gold gilding wax to give the cabinet a touch of glamour.  The inside back and bottom shelf have been decoupaged with a coordinating art deco style wallpaper which has also been protected with varnish.  The gold in the wallpaper has a glittery finish that catches the light beautifully.  The cabinet is not too deep so will fit in many of today’s homes.  It could be used as a drinks cabinet (cocktails, gin or otherwise!) or a display cabinet.
