An eye catching mid-century chest of drawers refinished in a dusky pink with a pale gold geometric design on the drawer fronts which fits perfectly with it’s mid century modern lines, coordinates with the gorgeous wallpaper that lines each drawer and makes it a unique piece of furniture.This versatile piece of furniture could be used as a chest of drawers or dressing table in a bedroom or a sideboard in a glamorous living / dining room. The size is perfect for old and modern homes not being too big but at the same time offering deep drawers ideal for storage. As it was originally designed as a dressing table it still has the mirror (see later photos) but also looks great without the mirror. The mirror is in good condition with just a couple of age related marks.Height 79 cm (141cm with mirror)Depth 50 cm (53cm with mirror)Width 76 cmIt has been cleaned, repaired, sanded and primed before painting the main body in a lovely custom blend dusky pink by Fusion Mineral Paint. It was then protected with a durable satin varnish and then given further coats of a matt varnish. The drawers are lined with a coordinating pink wallpaper also with a gold geometric design, the paper has then been protected with satin varnish. The original handles were stripped of old paint and resprayed in gold to match the new look.This is an old piece of furniture which will come with slight imperfections and is all part of the charm of vintage furniture.
